Morning, today on my desk is a box I am working on for a Secret Sister swap. I figure that because it is not even 10% done I am ok to show it. Thanks to the lovely Andy Skinner and his new workshop, my base is complete. Let the decorating commence!

Workshops
What a glorious few days we have had! Proper T-shirt weather, what is going on with that! Anyhow I am doing a couple of on-line workshops and played around today with the newest one which started on Friday. It is being taught by the fabulous Andy Skinner who makes stamps that are right up my street. Here is my first technique attempt at faux leather. I totally ruined it at the last hurdle but I reckon I managed to save it in the end! You may remember my previous Andy Skinner workshop effort which was the love potion number 9 bottle.
On Friday I went to Art From the Heart to take a workshop with the fabulous Kate Crane. We made inky tags from the new Dylusions range of sprays and stencils and decorated with new release Stampotique stamps. Fabulous day! The tag and ATC have already been claimed!

Mojo Monday and Wild Orchid Challenges
I have not really entered any challenges much in the last year and decided that I actually miss joining in so I am making an effort. Today I created a piece for 2 challenges, my old favourite challenge Mojo Monday which is to follow a sketch and Wild Orchid Crafts challenge which is white + one other colour, my other colour is Old Paper Distress ink. The piece is made on a small canvas using a frame I created with Fimo, book page, Bo Bunny time piece paper, Wild Orchid flowers and Stampotique stamps. Everything for this piece was rummaged in my stash and is 100% UIU.

WOYWW
Not much on my desk today, I will be moving in a few weeks so creating is taking a back seat for packing. I won the stampotique gift voucher a few weeks back and my new stamps arrived yesterday, and we have bin bags for packing stuff that doesn't need to go in a box and also getting rid of carp that I wont be taking with me. I have a few piles, one to keep one to bin one to charity shop, the charity shop pile is the biggest!

Busy week!
This week was quite mental, started the house buying process, nearly got blown up and went to Art From The Heart twice!!!! Firstly I have a page in my ledger journal which I completed when I found out that I would in fact be moving into pretty much my ideal home, only thing its missing is being in some hot exotic English speaking place like Barbados! Why English speaking you ask? Because I have such a bad memory for languages I really struggle
Next we have yesterdays page completed at Art From the Heart, it was Sunday journalling regulars moved to Saturday. Dyan was still jet lagged bless her but managed to hand out a cracking challenge, she handed us all a quote and piled all her new CHA stuff in the middle of the table and let us all at it! Much fun.
And last but by no means least the first trip to Art From the Heart was for a class with the fabulous Kate Crane. The class was all about box making and here are a couple I errmm finished at home, too much yabbering from me! Would you really expect anything else from me though haha! Stamps used on the box's are Stampotique, Hero arts, Tim Holtz and my favourite, Indigoblu!
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend.

Ladies who Lunch
Friday was our monthly Ladies who Lunch meet and this time we all did a canvas. I took my couture creations book with me and did a lady in that style, kinda, couldn't be bothered faffing with an intricate dress so it became allot more simple! Sorry the pictures aren't so good, having issues with light
I am entering my canvas in the Happy-Daze February challenge - A technique you love, because I love painting and hand drawing and doing canvas pictures.
