This months ladies who lunch meet saw us making a fabulous little canvas from metal. I had such fun making this but with my impending move being literally only a week or two away I cant keep hold of it so I am letting it go in my ETSY shop.

Ladies who Lunch
Friday was our monthly Ladies who Lunch meet and this time we all did a canvas. I took my couture creations book with me and did a lady in that style, kinda, couldn't be bothered faffing with an intricate dress so it became allot more simple! Sorry the pictures aren't so good, having issues with light
I am entering my canvas in the Happy-Daze February challenge - A technique you love, because I love painting and hand drawing and doing canvas pictures.

Ladies who lunch meet
Today was the first ladies who lunch meet up of the year and I must say, we started the year off with a bang! Here is the project. We took a wooden bird house and decorated with Ten Second Studio metal. Fabulous day and really happy with how mine turned out.

Ladies Who Lunch, Haul and Dina!
Wow allot in the title line but actually not much to write!
Friday was the monthly meeting of the Ladies Who Lunch and hosted by the lovely Anne who made a sumptuous lunch of home made lasagne with salad and fresh fruit with Limoncello specially made for me for dessert yummy! I haven't finished the project we did so I have nothing to show yet. The fabulous Moira from Happy Daze came over as unbeknown to me lives very close to Anne and kindly brought half her shop for us to look at, and a big shopping list from me! Ha! Here's my haul video on what I bought, and no I am not saying how much I spent!
Also I have finally gotten round to videoing what I made in the Dina Wakley workshop a few weeks ago!
Enjoy!

WOYWW 85
I had an accident and lost the picture for this post, many apologies.
What's on my desk today? Well yesterday was the Ladies who lunch club's monthly meet hosted this time by the lovely Anne who provides such amazing food! This is what we started, I say started as I really underestimated how long it would take to decorate all them boxes! What a nightmare, not one side is the same size so I had to measure every single cut that I made, doing the bottoms of the box was a whole new nightmare, one edge would be 4.7cm the other side 4.4cm. It is all decorated internally now and ready for filling, but I cant say that I will be buying another of these things any time soon.........

Ladies Who Lunch Meet
The lovely ladies who lunch met up today and created this wonderful piece of work, well this ones mine they all came out very different. Inspired by a shadow box from Samuel Taylors of Brighouse the parts were hunted down and created. The photo doesn't show it very well but its all 3D inside the box, they all came out wonderfully!! Thanks ladies for a fab day and some fab food too!!
Also this week I got my hands messy in someone else's journal. Part of the AFTH circle journal, I am second to last to go in it, shall be passing it on to the final contributor on Saturday.
And random cuteness: Patch one of my cats.

Ladies Who Lunch Club
Well the Ladies Who Lunch Club was in full swing yesterday, but this time we didn't just lunch, we crafted and lunched and gossiped and generally had a real fun day. It is so nice to share ideas and experience with other people that isn't in a classroom, it was very relaxing and much more fun. This is my finished canvass.... I think its finished may add more to it later.....
