I had an accident and lost the picture for this post, many apologies.
What's on my desk today? Well yesterday was the Ladies who lunch club's monthly meet hosted this time by the lovely Anne who provides such amazing food! This is what we started, I say started as I really underestimated how long it would take to decorate all them boxes! What a nightmare, not one side is the same size so I had to measure every single cut that I made, doing the bottoms of the box was a whole new nightmare, one edge would be 4.7cm the other side 4.4cm. It is all decorated internally now and ready for filling, but I cant say that I will be buying another of these things any time soon.........

I just bought a configurations box but only bought the smallish one. I am glad about that now. Thanks for sharing.
The box is coming along nicely. I love the colour of paint you have chosen.

It was great fun though. Now come on you have to finish it.xx
Thanks for swinging by earlier - will have to take time later (or tomorrow) to check out your craft sale....those Magnolias are calling loud! Love the boxes, but you must have the aptience of a saint!
Looks beautiful though, love those muted colours.

Yep, had a fabulous time, not touched mine since you left, lol. Yours looks great. xx
Thanks for the review I was wondering about these. They look so cool when Tim does it but do I want to take that much time - um maybe not.
They turn out lovely, but no way would I ever start one of these boxes! It would fall by the way side and lie in wait for me. I'm really bad to get all excited about something and then never finish! It's best if I stick to cards.
Ah but Claire - you tissue taped each box individually - that's why it took you so long! It does look much neater than mine though :) Keep at it and show us when you've filled it with your found objects. x
You are going to have fun with those boxes. I think I would go demented trying to match up the measurements. Good luck.
Sounds as though you all had a fab time. Looking forward to seeing it finished and what little gems you find to put in.
Great looking box. Thanks for the peek and sharing. Happy WOYWW, hugs Marjo #10

What patience ...worth it I feel
I bought a small one of these which Im glad about lol such dedication decorating each box, I was going to do the trick on tim holtz which shows a different way so you don't have to decorate the whole box, but seeing yours I think yours looks way better so I may have to do the long way lol
Yes it was a great time. They were all lovely. Not touched mine since though I will complete it. Forgot to say your art journal pages below are gorgeous :-)
