Card time and house news

Well, you might be a bit shocked, but I can actually do cards! Don't all feint at once! I decided to have a play with my Indigoblu flitter glue and stamp that I used in the previous post on my journal page, but this time on a card. Using my favourite colour's and girlying it up with some hand made flowers. I think its purdy! I shall make it again for youtube with a different colour scheme, that is if I get chance before I move! Eeeeeeeee we have finally locked down the solicitors on both sides and should fingers crossed have the deeds signed sealed and crossed on Thursday, leaving me Easter weekend to move in! Cross all your fingers and toes for me!

Fly journal page

I have been working on this page for a couple of days now, I must say its not really me, its girly and pretty but I really like it! Phrase and gold leaf pattern and the gold leaf are all from my favourite place Indigoblu. Butterfly's were in a plastic grip seal bag in the bottom of a drawer so your guess is as good as mine where they came from! I will probably doodle on it as time goes on so it wont stay like this forever.

Today on my desk is the making of a wired goddess that my lovely friend Mitzi showed and inspired me how to do. Its not finished yet though!

WOYWW Secret Sister Box

My lovely friend Laurel ran a secret sister box recently and I decided to join in. Their were set parameters for the box size and a guideline of what to fill the box with. My sister should have received her box so I think I am safe to share it here. My box is filled with techniques from the fabulous Andy Skinner workshop I am on. First picture is the the base and the rest are finished. The last 2 pictures are a tag I made, again with Andy Skinner techniques and a tag the lovely Dyan Reaveley made for my secret sister.

This weeks Art Geeks is a memory game, to draw from memory something you see every day. I choose to draw the entrance to the building.

Ladies who Lunch - March

This months ladies who lunch meet saw us making a fabulous little canvas from metal. I had such fun making this but with my impending move being literally only a week or two away I cant keep hold of it so I am letting it go in my ETSY shop.

WOYWW - A journal page

Not much on my desk at the moment, the move is gaining motion rapidly, even though the solicitors have messed up and delayed the actual handing over. Because I have been living with my Mum all my things have been in storage, grimy dirty storage so I have taken the extended few weeks opportunity to open every box, wash the contents or throw it away and re pack it ready for going. So here is a journal page I completed at AFTH Journaling Sunday regulars on the weekend. Still have to photo my Ladies who lunch piece but that will be here on the blog soon!
