WOYWW - A journal page

Not much on my desk at the moment, the move is gaining motion rapidly, even though the solicitors have messed up and delayed the actual handing over. Because I have been living with my Mum all my things have been in storage, grimy dirty storage so I have taken the extended few weeks opportunity to open every box, wash the contents or throw it away and re pack it ready for going. So here is a journal page I completed at AFTH Journaling Sunday regulars on the weekend. Still have to photo my Ladies who lunch piece but that will be here on the blog soon!

You will have to tune in next week for my box reveal as my Secret Sister should have received it by then.

LOVE that journal page! I have just started journalling and I'm buying all this 'stuff' for it....and going by the fantastic work you've done it looks like I didn't really need to....with just a little imagination and some 'basic' supplies you can come up with such lovely work!

Thank you so much for your inspiration ans for sharing it as well.

I hope your move goes without a hitch and it all works out well for you.... I will have one coming up soon and I'm dreading it with a passion! :(

Thanks again and happy WOYWW

Hi Clare...me again! colouring resin....yes its in the article but that won't be out for months! Dyes and things are complicated, as you're adding wet to wet which sometimes reacts badly depending on the chemical make up! Best things i've found for colouring are things that have very very fine particles, not like heavy glitter that will sink as it cures, you need something that will stay suspended. Think mica powders, ultra fine glitter or fun flock!!!!! With mica especially you have loads and loads of colour to go at (and of course you can mix powders to get different shades!) Hope that helps, just shout if you need any more tips!! Trish xxxxxxxxxxx

Nice work Claire, wow!! Love the wavy writing, really one of my gave looks one journal page. Good for you with all the work on the store items, I net you found it quite reassuring to be doing something whilst the legal stuff etc felt like nothing else wasting done.
