Canvass Picture

It was my sisters birthday last week and well I hold my hands up I forgot - luckily for me I haven't seen her so she has no idea that I forgot!! Stroke of luck or what? So I have made her a little canvass that I am combining with a couple of challenges.  First is Studio L3 Challenge: Multi Medium Collage, Second is Tuesday Tagger's Challenge: Make a canvass which is sponsored by the lovely Dyan over at Art from the Heart.

Canvass and wings are painted with ranger paint dabbers, heart and wording are painted with blonde moments acrylic paint. Heart and wings are made from grungeboard, heart covered with book page using multi-medium. Phrase is from Tim Holtz. Hope she likes it!!

I bet she'll LOVE this, Clare! It's a beautiful canvas, and your multi-medium technique looks fabulous! I really like the way you inked the heart, and the gold and purple tones are so elegant together. Well done!!!
